Buffering and missing EPG are usually solvable in minutes. Follow this fast path to isolate and fix the root cause.

Step 1: Network

  • Speed test: 20+ Mbps free per stream. If OK, check jitter and packet loss.
  • Switch to Ethernet or 5GHz Wi-Fi. Reboot router and disable ISP filters.
  • If office/hotel Wi-Fi blocks streaming, try a mobile hotspot.

Step 2: Player/App

  • Set hardware decoding ON; buffer 8–12s; enable deinterlacing.
  • Clear cache, update app, re-import playlist/portal and EPG URL.
  • Try an alternate player (VLC/TiviMate/iMPlayer) to compare.

Step 3: Device

  • Update firmware/OS
  • Close background apps
  • Power-cycle for 60s

Step 4: EPG

  • Confirm correct EPG URL and timezone offset.
  • Force refresh/“Update EPG”. Delete stale XML cache if needed.
