Install on Smart TVs and link your Aroma TV playlist

  1. Install from your TV store: On Samsung (Tizen) open the Samsung TV App Store, on LG (webOS) open the LG Content Store, and on other brands use the built-in store to find and install IBO Player.
  2. Open the app on the TV and note the Device ID (and Key if shown). The app will also display a portal URL to manage playlists.
  3. On your phone or computer, visit that portal URL. Add a playlist, name it, and paste your full M3U link from the Aroma TV dashboard.
  4. Save, then relaunch IBO Player on the TV. Channels, groups, and the EPG will appear shortly.

What is IBO Player

IBO Player is a popular Smart TV app with a clean interface and portal-based setup. It does not host content; instead, you attach your Aroma TV playlist using a Device ID and a simple web form. Once linked, your categories and EPG appear right on the TV.

What you need

  • A Samsung or LG TV (or another platform where IBO Player is available).
  • Your Aroma TV M3U link from the dashboard.
  • A phone or computer to open the IBO Player portal.

Setup steps

  1. Install IBO Player from your TV's app store and open it. Note the Device ID (and Key if shown).
  2. On your phone or computer, visit the IBO Player portal URL shown inside the TV app.
  3. Add a new playlist, give it a friendly name, and paste your M3U link from Aroma TV.
  4. Save the playlist, then relaunch IBO Player on the TV. Your channels and guide will appear in a moment.

Helpful options

  • EPG & logos: IBO Player usually pulls these automatically; if something looks off, refresh the playlist in the portal.
  • Parental control: Lock categories with a PIN so kids see only what they should.
  • Favorites: Add your daily channels to Favorites to make the home screen feel personal.

Troubleshooting

  • Nothing loads: Ensure the playlist was saved on the portal and wait a minute after relaunching the app.
  • Guide out of sync: Set the TV to automatic time & time zone.
  • Lag on Wi-Fi: Switch to Ethernet if your TV has a port, or move the router closer.
